Marilyn Houston

Marilyn Houston, 91, of Valparaiso, passed away on April 3, 2020, in her home.  She was born on November 3, 1928, in Valparaiso to Horace J. and Ada L. (Casbon) Albertson, who both preceded her in death.

On July 4, 1948, Marilyn married Richard T. Houston who preceded her in death.  She worked as a receptionist at South Lane Veterinary Clinic before retiring.  She was also a member of the D.A.R.

Marilyn is survived by her children Bruce (Lori) Houston, Kathy (Joe) Worland and Nancy Jones.  She was also survived by 4 grandchildren Christa (Scott) Klemm, Dan (Mandy) Sultzer, Emily Houston, and Ben (Felicia) Houston; and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brother A.Dean Albertson and sister Shirley J. Beier.  Bill Beck will officiate. Due to the current Covid-19 outbreak, services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
