Marlin K. Lawson

Marlin K. Lawson, 79 of South Bend, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in South Bend. Marlin passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Hospice House in South Bend after longstanding heart problems. Raised and brought up in Gary and attending William A. Wirt High School, Marlin was a devoted born-again Christian and attended Christian churches regularly. He loved his Lord dearly and the Bible which he treasured. Now he rests in paradise and awaits the coming again of his Master, the Lord Jesus Christ. His family commits his spirit, soul, and body to the Lord whom he loved so dearly. He was born July 8, 1941 in Noblesville, IN the son of Russell K. and Helen M. (Michael) Lawson, who preceded him in death. Surviving are his brothers, Bill (Beth) Lawson of Storrs, CT and Ron (Karen) Lawson of Athens, GA. Marlin enjoyed reading. A private burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN.
