Noah A. Hamilton

Noah A. Hamilton, 70 of Kouts, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He was born May 11, 1949 in Paducah, Kentucky, the son of Noah and Martha (Allen) Hamilton. Noah was a Professor of Psychology, serving at South Suburban Community College in Illinois. He was a Navy Coreman serving with the Marines in Vietnam, where he was a Purple Heart recipient. Noah was a member of the American Legion Post #301 in Kouts and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a mentor in Veterans Court in Porter County for Judge Jent. On May 1, 1971, he married Roberta Resteau, who survives in Kouts. Also surviving are his children, Noah B. (Rebecca) Hamilton of Munster, Rachael Ann (Tim) Schultz of Boone Grove, Maria Hamilton of Chicago and James Andrew (Kathine Sarkey) Hamilton of Kouts and his grandchildren; Noah Cameron, Dane, Lucas, Alex, Ryan, Benjamin and Ziggy. He was preceded in death by his father Noah, his mother Martha Durika and a sister Shiela Ann Frasier. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019, 11 AM to 1 PM with services at 1:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe Street, Valparaiso
