Ramona Christina Maxey

Ramona C. Maxey, 56 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.  She was born November 15, 1964 in Hobart, Indiana to William Noe and Linda Pangburn. On January 1, 1990 she married Jeffrey Maxey who survives. Ramona is also survived by her children Joshua (Jennifer) Maxey, Erroll (Tiffany) Maxey, Heather Powell, Destiny (Zakary) Maxey, and Darrell (Carolay) Maxey; her grandchildren Hannah, Lolah, Elise, Liam, Eli, Rocky, Ava, Sophia, Wyelin, Mia, and Isabella; her mother Linda Daves; sisters Leona Jakel, Donna (Steve) Koselke, Tamie (Kelly) Young, and Jackie (Steve) Haney; her brother Tom (Beth) Noe and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded on death by her father William, her sister Alice Stump and her brother Fred Noe. Ramona was an auditor for Red Roof Inn for many years. She enjoyed gardening, shopping for antiques, reading, yard work and was happy spending time at the beach and soaking up the sun. The door to her home was always open to anyone.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 8th at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. in Valparaiso. Pastor Tom Noe will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
