Robert M. Hutchens

Robert M. Hutchens, 24 of LaPorte, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Robert was born April 14, 1994 in LaPorte, the son of Jennifer Hutchens. He was a machine operator for Arconic. Surviving is his mother, Jennifer (Jeff Dawson) Hutchens of Kouts, his sister Sierra Hutchens of Kouts and his maternal grandmother, Cheryl Hutchens of New Carlisle. Additional family members, are his uncles Matthew Hutchens, Michael Chlebowski and Jimmy Chlebowski, along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly. Robert enjoyed singing, dancing, acting, eating, making little kids laugh, writing poems and he loved animals. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 10AM – 12 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM with a sharing of stories with family and friends about Robert. Immediately following the Service, there will be food and the celebration of life at 105 Railroad St., Kouts, IN 46347. Donations may be made to the family.
