Obituary

Robert Lee Schneegas, 60 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at home.  He was born October 6, 1961 in Valparaiso to Robert E. and Carol L. (Albertson) Schneegas.  Robert is survived by his wife Lori L. (Aristuk) Schneegas, his mother Carol Carpenter, his sister Lee Ann (Lawrence) Nevills his dog Smoky; stepchildren Richard (Jennifer) Staciwa, Nicole Glass, Billy Glass, and Gus Glass; step grandchildren Nicholas, Claire, Connor, Xavier, and Elayna; his nephew Tye; mother-in-law Olivia Aristuk and his adopted son Joseph Farster. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schneegas, stepfather, Robert "Butch" Carpenter, and his beloved dog Libby. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #2517 in Valparaiso and a graduate of Valparaiso High School.  A celebration of life will be from 1-3 PM on Tuesday, May 10th at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge, 805 Elm St. in Valparaiso. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
