Ruth Keehne Obituary

Ruth Ann Keehne 81, of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. She was born May 5, 1940 in Lansing, Michigan to George and Elsie (Horstmeyer) Kahres. On September 21, 1963 she married James Jay Keehne who passed away December 5, 2012. Ruth is survived by her daughter Andrea Farmer of Valparaiso, granddaughters Emily Anne and Molly Marie Farmer both of Valparaiso; her sisters Lois Fiacable of Crown Point and Joyce Kitchenmaster of Stanton, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Katharine Frakes. At this time there is no visitation or public funeral. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Ruth can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave, New York, NY 10001. Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso is in charge of arrangements.
