Sherry Kay (Robinson) Chumbley

Sherry Kay Chumbley, 66 of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born May 27, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Carl and Barbara (Waters) Robinson. On June 26, 1976 she married Daniel Chumbley, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving are her children, Danielle Chumbley, Noelle (Chris) Currie, Janelle Haas, Rachelle Chumbley, Samuel (Alyssa) Chumbley and Gabrielle (Ryan) Paarlberg, 14 grandchildren, her father Carl Robinson and 2 sisters Pam (Dave Blue) Robinson and Karla Robinson. She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Robinson. Sherry was a hairstylist and a member of Calvary Church in Valparaiso. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, and volunteering at her church. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, 11 AM until Funeral Services at 1PM at Calvary Church, 1325 Evans Avenue, Valparaiso, Pastor Josh Reasoner and Pastor Joe Wittmer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso. Memorial Donations may be made to Opportunity Enterprises.
