Steven Michael Gualandi

Steven Michael Gualandi 60 of Michigan City, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 8, 1962 in East Chicago to Joseph and Evelyn (Jovas) Gualandi. Steve is survived by his wife Sherry Davis Gualandi, his children Emily (Christopher) Blaes of Muncie and James (Hanna) Wring of Portage; his grandchildren Zacary Blaes, Ryder Blaes, Tristen Blaes, and Chase Wring, Jennifer-Lynn Wring, and Madilynn Wring; his brothers and sisters Tami (Danny) Reynolds, Terry (Gary) Gault, Tom Jett, Pierre (Karla) Summers and Sonya Shaffner He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Diane Gualandi and brother Michael Gualandi. Steve was an interventionist for Drug and Alcohol Programs. He enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.  Steve generously donated his body to the Anatomical Education Program at Indiana University School of Medicine. This gift will contribute significantly to the advancement of health science education in the state of Indiana. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Friday, July 7th at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. in Valparaiso. Memorial services for Steve will be at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Covenant House or the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana. Steve’s generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who loved him.
