Susan M. (Huffmaster) McGee

Susan McGee, 73, of LaPorte, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 23, 2021. She was born April 10, 1948 in Pana, Illinois, the daughter of Keith and Florence (Cacherat) Huffmaster. On September 16, 1986 in Burns Harbor, IN. she married Woodrow “Woody” McGee, who survives in LaPorte. Also surviving is her son John J.Hall of LaPorte, stepson Shawn McGee of Buckeye, Ohio and siblings Patrick (LuAnn) Huffmaster, Jon (Janice) Huffmaster and Cynthia (Charles) Ransford, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Rhonda Lynn Michael and brother Michael Huffmaster. Susan was a florist; she was very good at puzzles and games and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her laughter will be missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, 11AM to 1 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM Chaplain Missy Buche officiating. Burial will be immediately following in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN.
