Teresa Armes Obituary

Teresa I. Armes, 72 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born November 20, 1948 in Gary, the daughter of Earl Dewey Ramey and Jacqueline (Halfacre) Vaclavik. Teresa was a social worker, an avid reader with an extensive library and enjoyed gardening and quilting. Surviving are her children, Ronn Thoreson of Valparaiso, Carrie Hanks of Valparaiso and Elijah Armes of Evansville, 4 grandchildren, Elijah Armes III, Mirai Armes, Brady Thoreson and Aiden Armes and sisters, Rebecca Long of Georgia, Georgia Ramey of Valparaiso, Julie (Scott) Sommers of Hawaii, Lori Ramey of Illinois and Joan Ramey of Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Guy “Benny”.Ramey and sister Patricia I. Ramey Nehemiah. There will be a memorial service in June.
