Virginia A. Arndt, 74, of Kouts, passed away on November 20, 2021, at her home. She was born on December 15, 1946, in Valparaiso to William and Stella (LeMae) Fox, who both preceded her in death. On January 22, 1966, in Hebron she married David Arndt Sr., who survives her. Virginia worked for over 40 years as a seamstress at Mildred’s Lettering and at Athletic Lettering. She enjoyed spending her time in the outdoors camping and at family gatherings. In the mornings she enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles. Virginia always had her husband Dave busy with building items for her. The energy she had made it impossible for her to sit still for long. She is survived by her children; Rick (Dawn) Arndt of Valparaiso, David Arndt of Tennessee, Linda (Tony) Ratliff of Alabama, and Laurie Arndt of Kouts, and siblings Richard (Rose) Fox of Portage, Don (Stella) Fox of Kingsbury, Ed (Cheryl) Fox of Valparaiso, and Lu Lahman of Crown Point. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Bob Fox. A graveside service will take place on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
