Alan has been such a memorable presence in my life. He enjoyed having fun with others and had a special gift of making children feel special. He had a special ability to share his love with others.

I only met Mr. Young once when he visited his son, Eric. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and he enjoyed my pup, Jewel. Thank you Mr. Young for serving our country! And I just learned you were a painter. So was my dad. Maybe you 2 can look each other up in heaven. Also being a boy scout leader. What a difference you made in every boy you led. Your son Eric has been such a great friend and neighbor. You raised an amazing son. Rest in Peace. Cathy Grammer

James 1:2-4.....
Count it all joy, my brothers and sisters when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (ESV)
His favorite Psalm was 141. He would be honored if you would take a few moments to read it. Then pray.
