Robert L. Weeks, 67 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017. He was born July 16, 1950, the son of Robert L. and Jewel L. (Finn) Weeks. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran. Bob was a retired Lt. Detective for the Porter County Sheriff’s Department. He owned Inqueste & Associates, a polygraph firm. On November 13, 1976 in Valparaiso, he married Linda “Cookie” Green, who preceded him in death, December 14, 2012. Surviving are his children, Brian Weeks of Valparaiso and Kari (Chris) Bell of Florida, 2 grandchildren, a brother Ralph H. (Penny) Weeks of CA and a sister-in-law Esther “Toots” Johnson. Visitation will be held Monday, October 9, 2017, 4-7 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Bartholomew Funeral Home.
